Counselling can be useful for anyone who wants someone to talk to. I offer confidential talking therapy and I’d like to work with you to enable you to resolve difficult issues and find a solution to the challenges you face.
Sometimes, to be able to make changes you need self-awareness and self-acceptance and counselling can be beneficial for that process. It’s an opportunity for us to explore the emotional difficulties you may be experiencing. Just talking about your feelings could be helpful. I believe that given sufficient support and the right environment, you’ll be able to accomplish change.
I’m a qualified Counsellor, with a holistic approach. I work in a person-centred way; focussed on you, it’s all about exploring how the world is for you and how you feel. I’ll listen without judgement and try to understand and empathise. I make no assumptions about you or your life. I accept you for who you are. In the therapy room, you are the expert in your thoughts and feelings. I believe that any choice or decision you make for yourself, by yourself, will be the best one for you.
Counselling can be an opportunity for you to try to understand why you’re feeling what you’re feeling, or find a different way of coping, or start knowing yourself, and that’s done through our therapeutic relationship. Our working relationship is unique to us and it’s important that we’re honest and respectful toward each other.
